My story

#A5700120 Haku is a beautiful neutered male Siberian Husky with intelligent, soft eyes!  This boy has a special beauty to him that you cannot deny in spite of him clearly being rattled by the chaotic environment of the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. He is sweet, but timid here and is exhibiting a lot of pacing and swaying within his kennel.  He is super handsome with a quiet, keen disposition and we are confident the relationship he develops with whomever dedicates the time to make him feel safe will be very rewarding.  You cannot deny his warm, intelligent eyes, even if he is a bit reserved and anxious amongst chaos and strangers. Come meet Haku today! ♥&#239&#184&#143     -Haku is a neutered male Siberian Husky estimated to be 2 years old and 45 pounds. -Literally the most special, cutest face- especially if you’re lucky to witness a smile! -Due to his current timid state at the shelter, and to our lack of history with Haku, we are currently recommending he be adopted out to a quiet home, Adults only encouraged. -He shows sign of potty training, but no signs of command training. -He is alright with other dogs and from what we have seen, is non-reactive amongst them. -He walks great on a leash and currently has a warm/shy disposition- though don’t be surprised if he starts to exhibit more energy once he starts to feel “home”. -Arrived at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 05-16-2025 (help!! Share this guy!)     HAKU’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/c94Fz7c4uBw For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.June 25, 2025, 9:44 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt HAKU, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
