My story

Sylvia is the whole package—playful, smart, and absolutely irresistible! This goofy girl landed at HSSM on May 21st, 2025, after being found as a stray in Pass Christian. Though she didn’t have tags or a microchip, she was wearing a worn-out pink collar—proof that she once knew the comfort of a home. Now, she’s ready to find her forever family and start the next joyful chapter of her life. With a sparkling smile and a face made for the camera, Sylvia is as photogenic as she is lovable. But don’t let those good looks fool you—she’s also incredibly well-mannered! She proudly shows off her “sit” and “paw” tricks like a pro, especially when there are tasty treats involved (her favorite motivator!). Sylvia walks like a dream on leash and absolutely lives for playtime in the yard. A squeaky toy? Pure bliss. A tennis ball? Heaven. She’s always ready for a game of fetch or a round of zoomies before settling down for belly rubs and snuggles. Sylvia prefers to be the queen of her castle, so she’d thrive best as the only pet in the home—after all, she deserves to soak up all the love and tennis balls! Up-to-date on vaccinations, Fully vetted, Heart worm negative (yay!) Will be spayed upon adoption if not already. So… what are you waiting for?
