My story

Meet Chewy, a 5-year-old mixed breed dog with a gentle heart. He came to us from another facility and is still learning to fully trust his new surroundings. Chewy can be a little shy at first, so he would do best in a calm, patient home without small children. Once he feels safe, his sweet and loving personality shines through—he’s a loyal companion who just wants to be close to his people. Chewy can be selective with other dogs and would need slow introductions to any potential canine friends. He also tends to guard his toys, so a home that understands and respects his boundaries is important. With time, love, and consistency, Chewy will blossom into a devoted best friend ready to give his heart to the right family.
