My story

Leona is a 3-year-old brown and white tabby who’s blossomed beautifully since arriving at the shelter. Initially shy and curled up in her bed, she now comes right over to greet you when you enter her space—ready for love. Leona adores attention and will keep nudging your hand if you stop petting her. She enjoys most pets, lifts her back end high for scritches, and even makes little biscuits in contentment. The more time you spend with her, the more affectionate she becomes—bumping faces and even trying to crawl into your lap for full-on cuddle time. Leona did not do well with a baby in her previous home and may prefer to be the only cat. She has no history with dogs and would do best in a quiet home with older, respectful children. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close, Leona is ready to meet you.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leona, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
