My story

Sandstorm is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) You can visit our Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Sandstorm is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Sandstorm: Housebroken: Yes! She has been doing well on a consistent schedule. Crate trained: Sandstorm is not a fan of the crate but does well when left home alone free roam. Leash walking: So far, so good! She's still learning about walking in a straight line, but no reactivity or pulling reported Dog social: Yes! Sandstorm loves making new dog friends and has successfully lived with another dog in her foster home. Cat social: Sandstorm lived with two cats in her foster home and did well after a slow introduction. Kid friendly: Yes! She loves to cuddle with her human foster siblings, ages 7 and 8. Sandstorm likes: - Playing in the hose! - Cuddling! - Playtime Sandstorm is a sweet and beautiful girl who just arrived from Chicago Animal Care & Control. She's doing very well living with human, canine, and feline pals alike, and she is an excellent companion. She's enjoying her time in foster learning about fun things like walks, toys, and cuddles - she loves to throw her big head into her human's lap and get all the scratches. Sandstorm is a bit of a couch potato but will have short, playful bursts of energy. Sandstorm's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter and this lovely pup is so excited to join a family!
