My story

Hi! I'm Buscemi! I'm an approximately 6 year old, male Pointer/Lab mix. I was found off 549 near the Loves Gas Station in Rockwall County in the evening on 06/23/2025 and brought to the shelter on 06/24/2025. Sadly, my family never came for me. I am looking forward to finding my new furr ever home! I seem to do well with other dogs, and I'd love to meet any potential canine siblings to make sure we're a good match. I may be past the puppy stage, but I still have plenty of playful energy and lots of affection to give. I'm looking for a family who will see me for the gentle, devoted companion I am. Whether it's long walks, lazy afternoons on the couch, or just being by your side, I'm happiest when I'm with my people. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
