CHESTER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Chester and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (06/29) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Falls Church, (6100 - A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!       Name:  Chester          Best Guess for Breed:  Heeler mix (Cattle dog mix)    Best Guess for Age:  10 months as of June 2025       SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight: 24 lbs as of 3/27/25; he is still growing   Gets Along With: Other dogs and kids! We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:  DC area home   Chester is Looking For:  His forever home! This sweetie is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Chester the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  Chester is a goofy, playful pup with boundless energy and a heart of gold. Always ready for fun, he thrives on playtime with other dogs and could chase his ball for hours without ever slowing down. His obsession with fetch is only rivaled by his hilarious love of water—whether it’s from a bowl, a hose, or a puddle, Chester can’t get enough! Despite his endless energy, Chester is incredibly sweet and obedient. He’s quick to learn, already knows several commands, and loves making his humans proud. His clumsy charm and playful spirit make him the life of the park, where he runs, wrestles, and makes friends with every dog in sight. With him, every day is a joyful adventure. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
