My story

Please contact Lauren McCarty (laurenmc@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet baby kitten in search of her forever home!EDEN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!       Name: Eden  Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 10 weeks 5/17 - Known DOB 3/4/25 SEX: Female      Approximate Weight: 2.27 lb Coloring: Gray tabby  Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Eden will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period.  We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Litter: Ebony, Eden, Edward, Ella, Eloise Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Eden and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too! What my Foster Says About Me: Eden is a purr-machine! She loves to play when she has the kitten zoomies and when she is done, she will come ask for lots of pets by either jumping in my lap or giving me a sweet meow. And that is when the purring begins - she is such a happy and affectionate kitten! Sometimes she even lays on her back for belly rubs! She is good meeting new people, including kids. She also enjoys looking out the window and “watching” TV. Eden is a great kitten! Want to turn Eden into a purr machine?  All you have to do is give her ears and neck some scratches and off she goes!  Eden is a beautiful, kind kitten.  She took a day or two to get used to me, but now she greets me when I come in the door and will climb in my lap for scratches.  As with all her siblings, she loves to play with her littermates and any toy you put in front of her.  She also enjoys a good nap, and is learning that laps are pretty comfortable.  She loves all her siblings, but seems to be a bit closer to Ella and Eloise.  Eden has been good with everyone she meets (including kids from ages 8 to 16) and has excellent litter manners. What the Shelter Says About Me: Eden is a friendly little gray baby who loves to play and explore her surroundings. She is pretty brave and is blossoming day by day in her foster home. Like her siblings, Eden loves to play with people and interactive toys - like wand toys.  Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. Due to this kitten's young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than  9/4/25. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low-cost partner vets. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
