My story

Hi, I’m Roxie, a 2.5-year-old Goldendoodle girl who weighs 42 pounds.  I love to play and take long walks, but I love a good snuggle, too.  I’m looking for an active family who also treasures their down time, especially in the company of a loving dog! General Behavior: Roxie is an affectionate, athletic, and high energy pup who loves to play, but is also happy to snuggle.  She is smart and food-motivated which makes training a breeze. Likes & Dislikes: Roxie loves a game of fetch and will put the ball right into your hand to get you going! She also enjoys toys of every kind, car rides, and giving kisses. Most of all she enjoys being around her people and has anxiety when she is left alone. Training: Roxie walks well on a leash and has good basic manners.  She is housetrained and even learned to ring the bell in her foster home when she needs to go out. Medical: Roxie is a healthy girl and just needs her heartworm and flea/tick preventive medicines like any pup. Other Animals: Roxie needs to be an only dog, so she doesn't have to compete with other dogs for her humans’ attention.  She currently shares her foster home with a cat and they do fine. Children: Roxie does not have experience living with children but we think she would be ok with older (ages 8 and up), dog-savvy kids. Home: Roxie would be fine in an apartment, condo or single-family home as long as she gets her exercise – long walks and a chance to play off leash in a secured space.  She can be left alone in the home in a secure place for short periods without an issue. Grooming: Like all Goldendoodles, Roxie will need regular grooming to look and feel her best. Overall: If you are looking for an affectionate, playful pup and a great walking buddy, Roxie may be the one for you. Are you the one for Roxie? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $375. ##2418245##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Roxie June, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
