Meet Penne – Your Purrfect Pasta Companion! Penne is an 8-year-old gentleman with just the right blend of affection and independence—think of him as a classic comfort dish with a little extra spice. He’s neutered, medically up-to-date, and four-paw declawed, making him an easy-going addition to your home. This distinguished feline loves a good cuddle and will happily warm your lap when the mood strikes, but he's also content to lounge solo like the cool, calm carb he is. If you're looking for a mature, mellow cat who serves up love in manageable portions, Penne is ready to plate up his charm. Come meet your new favorite flavor of feline—he’s al dente in all the right ways! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
