My story

Hi there, I'm Malcolm. I have the sweetest personality and love to play. I cuddle with my brother and sister and love pets from my fosters. You can tell which one I am by my "spectacles". It makes mom smile when she picks me up and listens to me purr. I'm kinda in the middle of my brother and sister in how outgoing I am. I do love everyone in the house, including the dogs and the little kitten mom is fostering. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at a Garner PetSmart (White Oak Shopping Center, or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
