Musa

My story

Musa, also lovingly called Miso, is a spunky and sweet orange and white cat with an estimated birthdate of 3/15/2022. Initially shy, he will attach himself to you like Velcro once he warms up! He will gladly jump on your lap or sleep on your chest, but he prefers affection on his own terms and does not like to be picked up. Play bites and butt wiggles are his love language, and he is quite vocal with adorable little chirps and quacks when playing. He is also quite fond of nose scratches. On occasion, Musa may nibble on houseplants when he wants attention, so we suggest keeping plants out of reach. We rescued Musa from Chicago Animal Care and Control after his owner relinquished him due to their grandchildren’s allergies. While at CACC, he had stopped eating due to stress. He is doing much better now that he is in a home environment. Musa would do best in a calm environment. We think he would thrive in a home without young children, as he values his personal space. We’re not sure how he would respond to other animals, but we believe he would prefer to be a solo pet.
