My story

Meet Toast, a 3-year-old female cat with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. She’s sweet, friendly, and always curious about the world around her. While timid at first, Toast warms up with a little patience and quickly shows her affectionate side. She enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spots to nap, and soft pets from kind hands. Her curious nature means she’ll happily explore her surroundings once she feels safe, making her a delightful companion in a calm home.If you’re looking for a mellow, loving cat who just needs a little time to shine, Toast might be the perfect fit.For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
