My story

Luna is a gorgeous 2-year-old black German Shepherd with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. She came to us after being left behind during an eviction, caring for her litter of six puppies all on her own. Now that her pups are weaned and thriving in foster care, it's Luna’s turn to find the forever home she deserves. Luna is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on human connection. She’s gentle and affectionate, and does wonderfully with children—always eager to be part of the family action. Whether you’re heading out for a hike or curling up on the couch, she’ll be right by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. She gets along well with other dogs, though she can be a little bossy at times—typical shepherd confidence! She’s also cat-friendly and has done beautifully in a home with a variety of other animals.
