My story

Hi, I’m Chica 🐾 and I’m currently looking for my forever human! I’m a 7-year-old terrier mix. I got a little lost on my way through life (okay, I may have taken myself on a solo adventure), but now I’m safe with a foster and ready to find my full-time best friend and nap partner. My talents include: 🛋️ Snuggling like it’s my job ☀️ Rolling around in the grass on sunny afternoons 🐸 Making tippy taps with my front feet while in froggy leg position 🍖 Looking deep into your soul while you eat snacks (don’t worry, I’ll help you with the crumbs) ✨ Gazing lovingly at you like you’re the center of the universe (because you will be to me) I’m a low-key kind of gal. I don’t need hours of fetch or hikes up Everest — just a lap to sit on, the occasional toy to squeak, and someone who tells me I’m pretty while they pet me (often). My ideal home? Somewhere quiet where I can be your one and only. I’m working on being 100% cool around other dogs, especially around food — mealtime is sacred and best enjoyed solo. I sometimes take my job as neighborhood watch a little too seriously (yes, I bark at passersby occasionally — but justice must be served). And cats? I haven’t had much experience, so I might be okay with a slow intro, or I might decide I prefer my kingdom cat-free. I’m learning leash manners (and absolutely crushing it, thank you very much). I’m smart, food-motivated, and always trying to be the best version of myself.
