My story

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy kidsCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesMurphy is a sweet, fun-loving boy who's ready to bring so much joy into your home! He loves to accompany you on any adventure, whether it's riding the T or going on a hike. Murphy is looking for a home excited to continue his training and give him all the belly rubs.He is an active, medium energy pup who loves to play hard and nap harder. Murphy gets along well with other pups and is still learning to take cues from them/adjust his play style. He has not had exposure to cats but his friendly disposition would likely be fine with a dog-savvy one in the home. Because he loves to play and greet humans all the same, he would do best with dog-savvy kids.Murphy is a smart pup, as he quickly picked up on commands like "sit", "stay", and "come". He is crate-trained and house-trained. He is crated consistently during the day and overnight, where he may cry/whine at first but settles quickly. Murphy is potty trained and alerts when he needs to go out, and he needs to be taken out with a regular schedule and routine. He is mastering his leash skills and will benefit from a strong, confident handler. Murphy has the sweetest puppy eyes and softest fur that will surely melt your heart. Are you ready to call him family? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org. Last Hope K9 Rescue is licensed with the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (#0151).June 29, 2025, 2:40 am
