My story

***Cane Corso or similar breed experience will only be considered*** Grace Age: 5 years old / Breed: Cane Corso Size- Large – 80-95+ lbs Dogs: YesCats: NoKids: No Meet Grace – A Resilient Spirit with So Much Love to GiveAt just five years old, Grace has endured more than any pup should. Found abandoned in a park with a harness painfully embedded in her body and two torn ACLs, it’s no wonder she’s cautious around new people. But once you earn her trust, Grace’s love is boundless—she welcomes her circle with open paws and a heart full of affection.Despite the hardships she’s faced, Grace remains joyful and full of life. She has a neurological condition that affects her cerebellum’s development, giving her a unique, wobbly gait. But don’t mistake her distinctive stride for struggle—Grace doesn’t let it slow her down! She embraces each day with the same happy, free-spirited energy as any other dog, living life to the fullest without pain or discomfort. Thanks to her dedicated friends at Meriden Humane Society and her medical team, Grace is thriving. She may move a little differently, but her heart beats just like any other pup’s—full of love, hope, and the desire for a family to call her own.Grace is waiting for someone special to see beyond her past and cherish the incredible dog she is today. Could that person be you?Grace is available for adoption at the Meriden Humane Society. If interested in fostering or adopting, please fill out an application! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Grace, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
