My story

Aurora’s life hasn’t been easy. She came from a hoarding situation where she was locked in an outdoor pen, the door zip-tied shut, left isolated and alone. When she entered our program, we weren’t sure what to expect—but what we’ve seen is a brave dog slowly learning how to trust again. 💛 Since moving into her foster home, Aurora has started to shine. With the help of her foster family’s dogs, she’s discovering that people can be kind and safe. She loves making new dog friends, lounging in the sun, and sneaking into her fosters mom bed for secret cuddles. Each day, she shows us a little more of her gentle and curious personality. Aurora still has progress to make, and she’ll need a family who understands that her journey is one of patience and trust. Her perfect home will have: 🐾 At least one friendly dog (the more, the better!) 🏡 A secure, fenced yard ❤️ A family committed to giving her the time and space she needs Aurora isn’t your “typical” dog—but she is special.
