My story

WAITLISTED - STILL ACCEPTING INTEREST  Introducing Zeus! Social Affectionate Chill Snuggly Hi, I’m Zeus! I’m a sweet and snuggly Great Dane who absolutely loves being close to my people. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will greet you with a happy tail and a kiss, I might be your guy! I enjoy car rides, daily walks, and being part of whatever’s going on. I’m a social butterfly and even love going to the vet—how many dogs can say that? I’m friendly, calm, and just want to be included in the family fun. I get along great with adults and kids alike. I’m especially gentle with children and love being part of their world. I also enjoy the company of other dogs, especially those with laid-back personalities. I’m submissive and tend to be a bit unsure around more dominant dogs, but I’m always polite. I haven’t met any cats in my current foster home, but I don’t have a prey drive, so I might do just fine with the right introduction. Likes:• Snuggling with my people• Meeting new friends• Walks and car rides• Being part of the action Dislikes:• Not a fan of fireworks• Feeling left out I’m fully housebroken and crate trained, though I don’t really need the crate anymore. I know several commands like sit, stay, down, off, wait, no, and shake. I may bark a little when someone comes to the door, and I do enjoy a good counter surf—so keep the snacks out of reach! I’m in great health with no current concerns. Forever Home Wishlist• While I love spending time with my family, I can handle being left alone for up to 10 hours if needed.• Another easygoing dog in the home would be a bonus• A home where I can be involved in everyday life and feel like part of the pack • If your home is in the city, then a physical fence is preferred.• I might do ok in an apartment setting.
