My story

Wilbur is a smart, affectionate, and freckle-faced sweetheart looking for a forever home to call his own! This young pup is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly — with just enough puppy energy to keep you smiling and a deep love for naps, belly rubs, and cozy time on the couch.Wilbur is potty trained and food motivated. He learned “sit,” “shake,” and “lay down” within his first hour in foster care! He’s currently working on crate training and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. He’s naturally curious and loves taking in the world around him — he just needs a little guidance to channel that curiosity into confident strolls.He can be a little cautious in new situations but warms up quickly. He enjoys being close to his people — usually within nose reach — and is happiest when he’s part of the family action (or chewing a treat nearby). He’s good with other playful pups, loves lounging in the grass for a good rubdown, and rope toys are his absolute favorite.Wilbur hasn’t been tested with cats or young children. He would thrive in a home where someone has the time and interest to continue nurturing his sharp mind and sweet spirit. He’s a dog who loves to learn — and will absolutely shine with continued engagement and companionship.Wilbur is ready to meet you — and ready to love big.
