My story

ABOUT HARPY! Meet Harpy, our handsome tuxedo boy! This cutie man was brought to HAP as a stray, who was causing a bit of a ruckus with the resident cats! You'd never know he was a wild man in his youth now, though! Harpy is a shy little guy, who wants love but isn't quite sure how to ask for it. He likes to watch his human friends do their jobs and is happy to help them find his food dish! Once he is very comfortable with a person, he loves some good head pets; He'll purr and purr! His favorite activity is hanging out with his cat friends, following them around and seeing what they think of the place. *Harpy loves other cats and must either go to a home with a kitty or be adopted with one of his friends. We don't recommend dogs or children, as he is shy. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
