My story

Jackson is a handsome nine-year-old who was surrendered to us when his owner moved to a no-pet housing complex. He was adopted but was returned a few weeks later because the family's other cat wouldn't accept him and kept attacking him. He is a sweet boy who loves food and exploring all the cozy beds available to him in our cage-free room. Jackson is a large boy at nearly 17 lbs. We are looking for an adopter willing to keep him on a weight loss plan, as he could benefit from losing a few pounds. He leans into head pats and loves to sit beside our volunteers. Jackson is neutered and up to date on all of his vet care. He does get along very well with the other cats he is housed with. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at medfieldshelter.com/adopt If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption but there may be applications received ahead of yours and we do take them in order. All adoption meetings are by appointment. Filling out our adoption application is the first step in the process. To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page: http://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat All adoption meetings are by appointment. Our adoption fee for cats ages 7 months to 2 years is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair. The fee for Cats 3 years to 10 years is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair. Senior Cats 11 years and over are $125 (free to senior adopters). The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FIV/FeLV, and spaying/neutering

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jackson, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
