My story

Poppy is a gorgeous 6-year-old tabby. She has been spending some time in a foster home and is doing well. She likes to "talk" with you and rub against your legs. In her foster home, she is often sitting next to her foster mom on the arm of her chair. She does have a bit of a feisty side, especially if she thinks you've been patting her for too long. She will generally let you know when she's done getting attention with a quick swat (no claws though!) Poppy has had all her vet care and is spayed and microchipped, making her ready for a new home. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Poppy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
