My story

Meet Paul, a loving and sweet old man who is searching for his forever home. This gentle soul came to us as a stray, and it seems like someone tried to give him a DIY haircut before he made his great escape! Paul is incredibly well-behaved and has a calm demeanor, making him a perfect companion for a quiet household. While he seems to prefer being the only pet, he's not entirely opposed to making friends, just with a little more selectivity. With his affectionate nature and charming personality, it's no wonder that he's stolen the hearts of everyone here at the shelter. If you're looking for a sweet companion to share your life with, Paul is ready to bring love and warmth into your home!**All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested prior to adoption.****We cannot guarantee that a dog will be good with children, other dogs, or cats. If you already have a dog, a meet-and-greet is required.****For this process to be safe and effective, your dog must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations before you can be approved for dog adoption through the Boone Area Humane Society.**All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.
