My story

Liza (FCID#10/28/2024-90Liza and Lily were playing in our Glen Mills PetSmart adoption center.  Please ask to meet them! Meet super sweet Liza! Bonded with sister Lily (FCID#10/22/2024-90). Liza is named after Liza Minelli because of her flashy tuxedo, big eyes and super star looks. Liza has a silky soft coat and irresistible white markings highlighted against jet black fur. Her foster family just loves to gaze at her adorable little face! It’s hard to believe that Lily and Liza are sisters, or even of the same species, because their coloring and markings are so different! But they are a striking complement to each other.  Lily and her sister Liza are both social and playful kitties. They love to keep you company and will purr as soon as you enter the room, often greeting you at the door.  They also share an identical flabbergasted expression when something unusual happens, popping their heads up like prairie dogs with goofy, wide-eyed stares. Liza and Lily are an especially low-maintenance duo, great for people who spend a lot of time at work. They are very healthy and eat well. So far they have liked all types of food, both dry and canned. Their eating and litter box habits are tidy. Liza and Lily are easy company, not demanding, fussy or needy. They radiate a feeling of contentment and of interest in the goings on around them. As of now, Liza and Lily enjoy stretching out on a comfy chair or bed leaning against their human, but they rarely choose to get on your lap. We call them “lap adjacent” because they want to be near you, next to you, but not ON you. Some of Liza and Lily’s favorite pastimes are popping in on their person now and then for pets, sitting by a window and watching the world go by, entertaining each other (and you) while exploring and playing with cat toys. These girls are the best of friends and are wonderful companions for their humans. On a side note, these two have also defended their foster dad from a rather large spider, spending over an hour keeping it trapped in a corner and away from him, so keep that useful skill in mind.
