My story

    Axl Sweet Child Age: ~8 years | Chihuahua Mix | 11.6 lbs | Male Axl Sweet Child is ready to rock your world — with cuddles, charm, and just the right amount of pep! This handsome guy may be around 8 years old, but don’t let that fool you — he’s full of life and love. Axl is extremely affectionate, always seeking someone to snuggle up to, and has a gentle way of making everyone feel special. He’s got one mature cataract with no vision in that eye, but it doesn’t hold him back — he still knows exactly where the treat bag is! He’ll proudly stand on his back legs and do the cutest little “begging dance” for snacks, and he’ll win you over with his rockstar personality. Axl is heartworm positive, but the rescue is covering the cost of his treatment. His best friend is Rose Marie, and they’d be thrilled to stay together — but it’s not a dealbreaker.
