My story

Hot Pickle is a small pup with a tough past — one that's left him scared, overwhelmed, and unsure how to trust. When you meet him, it’s clear he’s been through more than any dog should. He’s shut down, flinching at touch, and he panics when picked up. But we know dogs like Hot Pickle. Under all that fear is a dog who wants to feel safe, who wants to belong — he just doesn’t know how yet. What Hot Pickle needs is simple, but not easy: 🐾 A calm, quiet home — no loud noises, no chaos, no pressure. 🐾 A patient person who can let him decompress on his timeline. 🐾 Someone who will offer consistency, gentle care, and respect for his space.
