High-steppin’ Cutie With a Dot on his Nose! Teacup is a sweet boy looking for a quiet, safe place to land with people to love! He was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which affects his balance. This means he walks with a high step and a wobble. CH is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition, but Teacup has had it since he was born, so it’s normal to him! He may have a funny gait, but he gets to wherever he wants to go, and can play, eat, and use the litter box just fine. He just moves through life a little differently. Teacup was adopted but was recently returned because a dog joined the household, which terrified him. He would do best in a home as your only pet, with adults and young adults who understand that he needs gentleness and consistency. Give Teacup a low-key and loving home, and once he gets used to everything, he will relax and share his affection with you! He’s an easy boy to love, and doesn’t require special care or accommodation. A CH cat must be kept indoors, and has the same lifespan as non-CH cats. Questions?
