My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET AND CURIOUS KITTEN Meow! My name is Penelope. My estimated date of birth is 4/11/2025. I am a sweet and gentle girl who enjoys being gently petted and held. I am very curious and enjoy exploring. I am playful and love playing with toys, other cats, and anything I can get my little paws on! I am fairly confident, although sudden and loud noises can spook me. I am vocal and have a squeaky little meow, but I especially love to talk when I'm waiting for attention or food! I am in rescue with my sisters Louise and Teensie Tigger. I am good with other cats. I do not have experience with children or dogs. I am at the Kitty Corner, ready for my forever home!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
