He got his name simply because he was one of seven brothers rescued from a backyard breeding situation (yes, the Seven Dwarfs theme stuck!). Grumpy, like his brothers, was saved by Hope for Paws after spending his early life confined in a cage, huddled up just trying to feel safe. Now fully vetted and medically cared for, Grumpy is ready to leave the past behind and start his journey toward a loving forever home. He may be a little shy at first, but once he knows he can trust you, he reveals his sweet, gentle spirit. He’s calm, observant, and quietly affectionate—a loyal companion in the making. Grumpy just needs a patient, loving person to help him feel secure. Once he warms up, he becomes a tenderhearted friend who will stay by your side and soak up all the love you have to give.
