Meet Cooper! Cooper is a 1.5-year-old neutered shepherd mix with a heart full of enthusiasm and a brain that’s always buzzing! This handsome guy is incredibly smart and thrives when given a job to do. He’s the kind of dog who would love to be your teammate in dog sports like agility, scent work, or rally — anything that challenges both his body and mind. Cooper is full of energy and loves to move! He’s still learning how to channel all that excitement into good choices, so he’ll need a home committed to helping him continue working on his impulse control with positive reinforcement training. He’s not just a go-getter — he’s also a loyal, eager-to-please companion who wants to bond deeply with his person. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy with loads of potential, Cooper might just be your perfect match. Cooper would do best in an active, experienced home that understands the needs of high-drive dogs and is excited to help him continue growing into his best self. We’d recommend no kids for him. Ideally his home is someone who lives a very active lifestyle and is wanting a dog to take on excursions like long hikes or runs, joining agility classes together, or anything where the activity & adventures are frequent and high level!
