My story

Hi there, I’m a handsome long-haired Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Iggy. I am 4 months old, weigh 7.6 lbs, and I was tossed out of a San Antonio apartment along with my sister Izzy. We were trying to hide in the parking lot, completely terrified, of course, we are just babies, and when neighbors couldn't catch us, they called 4 Little Paws Rescue to try and trap us. Thankfully, that worked, so we are now living in a foster home, safe and sound, happy as 2 little clams. These days, we are vaccinated and microchipped, and ready to find forever homes. I am a sweet little boy, playful and affectionate, a bit more outgoing than my sister, but still a wee bit shy when I first meet new people. Nothing to worry about because I warm up quickly and then I’m off to the races, running zoomies, lots of zoomies, having a blast, happy and adorable, making new doggy friends, and all the normal puppy behaviors. My foster mom says I’m a sweetheart who loves to be held and snuggled, and she has never heard me bark. Not once. I guess I’m a quiet little dude. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
