My story

Introducing… Honey Bun! A tiny lady with a personality as sweet as her name! Honey Bun was abandoned by her former “family” when they moved out and left her behind. Heartworm positive in a packed TX shelter, one of BUR's board members saw her SOS post and fell in love, so she became an underdog. She completed heartworm treatment, and is now healthy and ready to find a forever family‍ Honey is a ~2 year old, “pocket pittie" weighing in at a petite 30 pounds. She's a little on the reserved side, but is becoming more confident every day in foster care. While being fostered in TX she was good with the crazy puppies and adult dogs (she just doesnt love rough players).   Honey loves hanging outside and going on walks. She is very chill in the house with excellent manners, though she will need training in basic commands.
