My story

Are we about to be best friends? My name is Waffles! I’m a handsome gentleman and I have a silky smooth coat perfect for pets. My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering on my own. I’m ready for endless adventures, playtime, and naps in my very own bed. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I’m fully potty-trained. My caretakers don't know much about my history with other dogs and would like to meet any other dogs you have before going home. Do I sound like your new best friend? I hope so! Text my foster at (520) 668-5107 to set up a meet and greet with me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
