My story

Are we about to be best friends? I’m Vanessa, an adorable and cuddly puppy looking for my furever home. I'm a little shy at first, but I open up quick and let loose! I'm so fun and playful! I love to give you cuddles, and I'm such a sweetheart. As you can tell from my photo, I have a silky smooth coat perfect for pets. I love to play hard and nap hard on repeat. Who doesn’t? My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering with my siblings. I’m just a baby, so be patient with me as I learn to potty outside and other basic skills that you will teach me. I’m eager to learn! I have my whole life ahead of me so think of me as your best friend for years and years to come! Come by High Country Humane to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
