Meet Daisy – A Mama with a Heart of Gold At just 35 pounds, Daisy is a petite 3-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger story. This brave mama was found as a stray with her litter of eight puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. She had dug a hole into the side of a hill to shelter her babies—her love and determination are nothing short of inspiring. Now that all her puppies have found their forever homes, it’s Daisy’s turn to be the one cared for. She’s ready to trade in her days of survival for a life filled with love, security, long walks, and lots of tennis balls! Daisy lives for a game of fetch and will happily chase a ball until your arm gives out. She also loves going on walks and is a dream on a leash. While she may be a little shy at first, once she warms up, she’ll be your loyal and loving shadow. If you’re looking for a gentle, intelligent, and playful companion who’s already proven her courage and devotion, Daisy might just be your perfect match. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet may occur on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our adoption fee is $300. This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, spay, and a heartworm test.
