From the harsh streets of San Antonio, Texas, where survival was her daily struggle, to a high-kill shelter where her future seemed uncertain, Sammi’s story is nothing short of remarkable. Sammi’s past was full of adversity, but she never lost her kind, loving spirit. After being rescued from the streets and placed in a shelter, Sammi was faced with the unimaginable prospect of euthanasia. Yet, her strength and beauty shone through, and we knew she deserved a second chance at a life filled with love, comfort, and happiness. Now in the care of her foster family in Maine, Sammi is flourishing! She’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog, always eager to be around her humans. Despite her difficult past, Sammi holds no grudges—only hope for a brighter future. She’s playful, intelligent, and full of personality, making her the perfect companion for someone who’s ready to offer her the love and security she deserves. Whether she’s enjoying a leisurely walk, cuddling up for some quiet time, or simply wagging her tail with excitement, Sammi is sure to fill your home with joy.
