Hi! I'm John Paul, a sweet, sociable two-year-old German Shepherd mix ready for all of the affection from a new family! As my papal-sounding name would suggest, I'm already proving pretty saintly: I'm eager to please, with good leash manners and a wagging little tail. And we know what good leash manners mean -- I'm ready for walkies! Could I be the perfect pup for you?  ***JOHN PAUL IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our adoption fee is $350 plus health certificate and transport (if you are out of state - varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
