My story

Bear’s story almost ended too soon. This beautiful brown and white Husky was just days away from being euthanized at SEAACA when he got his second chance at life—and he’s making the most of it. At first glance, Bear’s soft eyes and quiet presence might seem shy, but give him just a little patience and you’ll start to see the real him emerge: a curious, sweet, and gentle boy who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Bear is steadily coming out of his shell in foster care. Each day brings a little more confidence—a tail wag here, a nose nudge there, and more moments of joy as he explores his new life of safety and love. He’s dog-friendly and would do best with a calm, reassuring home that can continue to show him the kindness he’s only just begun to know. If you’re someone who understands the beauty of a slow bloom, Bear just might be your perfect match. Let him show you what trust looks like—and what it means to be truly rescued.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
