My story

Meet Truffula Tree, a 2-month-old puffball of sweetness and spunk who’s straight out of a Dr. Seuss dream! With her soft fur and playful spirit, she’s here to speak for the toys—and the snuggles—and she’s got plenty of both to go around. Truffula Tree is as sweet as Thneedberry pie and as bouncy as a Bar-ba-loot on a sugar rush. She’ll chase after anything that wiggles, then curl up contentedly in your arms like the tiniest Truffula tuft. She’s medically up-to-date and ready to plant roots in a forever home where she can grow into the fabulous feline she’s destined to be. If your home is missing a little Seussian magic, Truffula Tree is the one to bring it. Adopt her—unless, of course, you prefer your days without joy, giggles, and a kitten who cares an awful lot. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
