My story

Hi there! My name is Opal, but my foster family calls me “Meep”—that’s what my tiny meows sound like! I’m a spunky, playful girl with a big personality and even bigger zoomies. Everything is a race to me… and I always win! I’m endlessly entertaining and full of silly antics that keep my humans laughing. I love playing fetch (yes, really!), and I’m even better at it than the dog—I actually bring the toy back and drop it at your feet! My favorite toys are the ones I can carry, especially if I get to proudly deliver them to my foster parents before curling up for a nap. I get along great with other cats and the resident dog. I haven’t met any kids yet, but I’m confident I’d do well with gentle, respectful ones. I’m very social and love being part of the action. Did I mention I’m also a tech-savvy kitten? I’ve figured out how to play smartphone games with fish and mice. I’m clever, curious, and fast—like a tiny ninja in fur. And when I’m finally all tuckered out, I love to cuddle and purr myself to sleep next to my humans. Oh, and my litterbox skills? Top-notch!
