My story

Howdy Folks! I am a pretty Heeler/Terrier mix named Pepper. I am almost 10 months old, 36 lbs, and I was one of a litter of 12 beautiful puppies born on 8/28/24 in San Antonio, Texas. These days, I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I just moved to Connecticut, so stop by and meet me in the Fairfield area! I am a happy country girl who makes friends easily with everyone, young and old, and my foster mom wants you to know that I am smart, independent, confident, alert, active, and ready for anything! I am the perfect girl for a fun adventure, whether by car or on foot, I love being free, running and playing, going for walks, hikes, runs, and roadtrips! I am affectionate and attentive, and I enjoy interacting with people. I rarely bark, I potty outdoors, and I’m well-behaved. As the sun goes down, I’m relaxing outdoors, watching the deer and rabbits off in the distance. I’m the type of girl with a zest for life, a positive attitude, and nothing gets me down. I have the most gentle personality and am great with all dogs of all sizes, even a 5-pound puppy! I eat right next to her and have no food aggression whatsoever. You can pretty much take anything out of my mouth, and I would be fine with it! I bet I would be an amazing family dog and be good with kids, and likely even kitties. I love to play with toys, and sometimes it gets me in trouble, like falling in the pool. Lol. But I got myself right out! Oh, and I am beautiful, which is hard to see in the pictures. I just moved to Connecticut and am really looking forward to meeting my family! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
