My story

Dog Name: Bear Breed: unsure of the breed but they will be on the smaller side Sex: Male Age:10 weeks Weight: around 5-6 pounds Medical Needs: Medical Needs: Neuter must be completed by end of October 2025 and is scheduled by Grass Roots Rescue. Appointments can be requested for Georgetown, Dover, Wilmington, or Newark. We willrequest the appointment at the lovation most convenient for the adopter. Foster to adopt families must understand we are given dates and whatever date their dog is assigned by the clinic, is the date they are required to keep. Because the neuter is still pending, foster to adopt families must live within an hour of the locations listed above, and must be willing to travel there for the appointment. A required $75.00 check must be submitted by the adopter, which Grass Roots Rescue will hold and then destroy once the neuter is verified. Housebroken: not yet Crate trained: not yet Good in the car: loves car rides Good on a leash: he's ok on a leash just a typical puppy Energy level: normal puppy energy but in a smaller package Need a fenced in yard: no Dog Friendly: loves other dogs If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? Doesnt bother our cat at all Kid Friendly:currently being fostered with two little children whom he adores If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age, just remember he is small and will easily run under your feet which you're walking or running around. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Bear is just as you would imagine he's a big cuddly teddy bear. This little cutie loves running around the yard and wrestling with his siblings. When it comes to trying new things he's usually the one that will watch and take notes before getting in trouble. Bear is usually the one found at your feet staring at you with those cute puppy eyes begging you to pick him up and love on him one more time. This baby will melt your heart as soon as you meet him with between his sweet demeanor and cute little puppy breath. Just beware you better be ready for some puppy kisses. Fosters Location: Felton, De Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (if you already have an approved application on file email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your app ##2363984##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
