Zeke

My story

Zeke is a 2-yo gentle giant. Like most Pyrs, even at 130lbs he thinks he’s a lap dog and wants to be close. He has good leash manners and accepts correction well, even when there is a distraction of interest like a squirrel. He loves walks and will want and need plenty. He’s has been crate-trained but will need time to settle into life without his brother, Falcor. He would do best with another dog in the home. He’s eating well and is house trained. He would be best adopted by a family—Pyrs love their people, preferably with another dog with whom he can bond. Knowledge of the breed is important. Pyrs are extra smart, notoriously stubborn, and love to wander. A fenced yard would be ideal. Regular grooming is also important. So far, Zeke is a model citizen. He will be your best, most loyal friend for his whole life. He is fostered in Boothbay. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com
