My story

Hi! I’m Frieda—a 2-year-old Corgi-Dachshund mix with a long, low-riding body, short little legs, and a whole lot of love to give. I weigh about 34 pounds, which makes me just the right size for playtime in the yard or cuddles on the couch (which I absolutely love).I’m a cheerful, friendly girl who gets along great with other dogs, kids, and even seniors. I’m always up for making new friends and being part of the action. Whether we’re going for a walk, tossing a toy around, or just relaxing together, I’m happiest when I’m close to my people.I walk nicely on a leash and ride fine in the car, though I may need a little boost to hop in—hey, these short legs only reach so far! I’m also crate trained and pretty tidy. While I can’t say for sure that I’m completely housetrained, I do know how to use a doggie door and prefer to go potty outside. I just need a little consistency and routine to be my best self! When it’s playtime, you’ll see my silly side come out—I love to bounce around, chase toys, and entertain you with my goofy antics. But once I’ve had my fun, I’m more than ready to curl up next to you and settle in. I’d be a top-tier couch buddy, movie night companion, and professional snuggler.I’m already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines, so I’m all ready to go home with the right person or family who’s ready for a lifetime of tail wags and love.If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable little sidekick to brighten your days and warm your heart, I think we should meet! Call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me or set up a visit. I’ll be waiting with my tail wagging and a big, happy smile! 💛🐾****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Frieda, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
