My story

Brief Bio:Kaui is a beautiful orange girl that’s about 10 weeks old. She was quite scared when she first came in with her siblings, but has made great progress in a few short weeks. She has beautiful markings! She can be quite shy when meeting new people or going into new surroundings, but comes around quickly with calm, reassuring interactions. She’s eating Hills Science Diet dry kitten food and using the litter box like a champ.Summary of Personality:Kaui is the most shy of the siblings. But once she trusts you and gains confidence in her surroundings, she’s the most vocal supporter! She asks for love and rewards you with the loudest purrs. She’s very active and enjoys romping with her siblings. If it moves, she chases it. Wand toys and push up treats are the key to winning her over. Kaui would really benefit from being adopted with one of her siblings. You can pick her up, but she’ll wiggle yo get looses if she can. With time and consistent positive interactions, I think she’ll be an absolute love bug. Of course, orange kitties are famous for their antics!Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Kaui has been fostered with her siblings and is curious about the resident 17-pound cat. She has not been around young children and might be better suited in a home with adults and older children.Include any observations of being house trained (or not):Kaui is a litter box champ! Adopters will want to initially have her in a smaller space or room while she settles in and learns where the litter box is.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
