My story

DIAMOND AND RUBY Diamond and Ruby are 2 sisters and they act just like sisters. One minute they are grooming each other and then they are play fighting the next. It is recommended that these sisters be adopted together because they have developed a tight and loving bond. They sleep together, play together and eat together. They were separated from their mom at a very young age for unknown reasons. They faced the challenges of not having mom to teach them but they started eating wet food and using the litter box at an early age. Diamond is so sweet. She starts purring immediately when she is seeking attention or even food. She is a good eater of both wet food and dry kitten kibble. An occasional scrambled egg is a treat she loves. She loves to play, climb and run. Nylon tunnels are extremely entertaining for her and her sister. They play chase a lot. She already knows how to use a scratching post. She follows her human around and goes between the human’s legs and tries to get on their feet. So be extremely careful until she matures some more so she does not trip you. Diamond is very curious and is a fast learner. She is learning to recognize her name, the word NO and how to wink back at her human. When it is bedtime and Diamond is called to go to bed, she comes running. Ruby loves her sister very much. She was bottle fed for a couple of weeks so she does try to “nurse” her human’s neck while making biscuits. She will outgrow this behavior most likely. She is very similar to Diamond in that she is a good eater, loves to play and fight. She jumps great distances and does not seem to have any fears when it comes to climbing. She likes to get in a position where she can see outdoors prior to falling asleep for a nap. She also purrs easily and you can feel the love pouring out of her. Ruby is a leader and is not as eager to go to bed as Diamond. She wants to get every minute out of her day.
