Hi, my name is Roadrunner—but everyone calls me Roadie. My cousin Benjamin and I are looking for the perfect family to call our own. We’re both a little shy out in the big, busy world, but we’re working hard every day to become braver. We practice by going on walks around the neighborhood and exploring nature parks. I’ve learned that staying on leash keeps me safe, and I trust the kind humans who remind me of that. Before we came to our foster home, we’d never seen things like kids, bikes, or basketballs—so everything still feels pretty new. That’s why I’d feel most comfortable in a home with grown-up humans who can help me experience new things at my own pace. Inside the house, I’m very well-behaved. I’m not a fan of crates, but I’ll go in during meals—as long as my foster mom is nearby to keep me company. I get along great with the other cats and dogs in my foster home, and I’ve made some very good friends here. I’ve got the softest fur you’ve ever felt, and I love getting brushed between trips to the groomer. One of my favorite things to do is hang out near my foster mom—I like to stay close just in case she wants to give me some pets. Snuggling on the couch or curling up in bed are top-tier activities in my book. Benjamin and I are a bonded pair, and we’re hoping to find a loving family that will be patient with us as we settle in. Once we feel safe and comfortable, we’re silly, sweet, and full of love to give.
