Meet Salem – A Mini Black Panther Elegant, sleek, GOOD natured, bold, athletic. VERY Friendly. Ever wondered what it would be like to share your home with a miniature panther? Look no further than Salem. This sleek, jet-black feline prowls the halls like a shadow, ready to leap into action with playful pounces from behind the couch that will leave you laughing. But Salem isn’t all stealth and sass—he's also a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room, sharing tales of his nightly adventures with charming chirps and meows. Once he’s satisfied his inner hunter with a good round of play, he transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug, eager for love and attention. Salem is smart, sociable, and endlessly curious. He was rescued as a discarded kitten and lovingly raised by a lifelong friend who, unfortunately, can no longer care for him. Now, Salem is looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He’s currently on a special diet to manage his food allergies, but he’s otherwise a very healthy and happy boy—ready to bring a touch of the wild and a whole lot of love into your life. His full and current bloodwork has been completed. Unfortunately, he experienced some neglect in recent months and was fed a very poor-quality diet. A vet visit and proper nutrition are all he needs to bounce back fully. But don’t worry—he’s already on the road to recovery! The rescue is working hard to restore his unbelievably shiny coat and healthy skin to their former glory. AWHAR will continue to provide his special food during his foster period and trial adoption to ensure he stays on the path to wellness.
