My story

Say hello to Bernard James, a 6-month-old, 11-pound Mini Poodle/Westie mix with a playful spirit and a whole lot of puppy charm! Bernard came to us as an owner surrender alongside his brother, Emerson Cade, and this little guy is ready to find a forever home where he can continue to blossom and have fun. Bernard is full of puppy energy and always ready to play, explore, and make his humans laugh. He’s a vocal little guy who isn’t shy about expressing himself—whether he’s asking for attention, chasing a buddy, or announcing it’s time for more fun. He can be shy and nervous around new people at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality really shines. Because of this, Bernard would do best in a home with older kids who understand and respect his space while he builds trust. Bernard is great with other dogs and will need another playful pup in the home to help him burn off his energy and feel secure. He’d thrive in a home with a big backyard where he can run around and get all those wiggles out. He’s currently working on his leash and potty training, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to guide him as he continues to grow and learn. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our small dogs in homes with larger or Bully breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
